Email Marketing Manager – Saatchi Art Group
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will work with Saatchi Art and The Other Art Fair teams to execute email
marketing campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue growth for the
brands. Your primary role will be to collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager in the creation,
implementation, analysis, and management of successful email campaigns and initiatives. You will also have the
opportunity to support other retention marketing programs, such as SMS, as needed.
Saatchi Art Group helps people discover, experience, and collect art they love—whether in person or online—
while empowering emerging artists around the world to make a living through their artwork. The Saatchi Art
online marketplace helps art lovers easily find and purchase original art and prints by artists across the globe on
their own or with the assistance of a complimentary Art Advisor. The Other Art Fair is an international art event
that connects independent artists directly with art enthusiasts looking to add to, or begin, their art collection.
Lastly, Saatchi Art’s Hospitality Art Advisory team provides expert art consulting and bespoke art curation
services for trade professionals across hospitality, residential, corporate, and healthcare categories.
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be part of our Marketing team and work remotely within the United Sates.
You’ll Report To: Senior Marketing Manager
Your responsibilities and tasks might include:
- Manage and grow Saatchi Art’s email program, including broadcast campaigns, triggered (automated)
and targeted journeys, and transactional emails, to drive customer lifetime value.
- Maintain email reporting dashboards to monitor channel performance across KPIs and present key
insights and data-based recommendations to inform strategic decisions and future campaigns
- Own email production and deployment end-to-end to ensure all campaigns are sent error-free, on-time,
to the right audiences and according to brand standards.
- Coordinate email testing roadmap to optimize for engagement and revenue growth, including designing,
implementing and reporting on AB tests.
- Manage subscriber list and audience segmentation with an eye towards growth and optimization
- Continually evaluate existing automated and transactional email campaigns for optimal customer and
audience segmentation
- Support The Other Art Fair with audience segmentation, small campaign builds, and technical requests
assistance
- Stay up-to-date on all email marketing and ESP best practices and industry changes, ensuring Saatchi Art
and The Other Art Fair are compliant with all regulations.
- Act as primary point of contact with Zeta Marketing Platform (ESP), managing vendor relationship and
workflows
- Partner with Senior Marketing Manager and rest of team on strategic optimizations and initiatives for
the channel
- Support production for other marketing channels as needed, including onsite experiences, SMS, and
more.
You’ll be successful if you have end-to-end email campaign production experience using an enterprise-level
email service platform.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of email marketing experience, preferably at a marketplace or e-commerce company
- 2+ year of experience using an enterprise-level ESP
- Solid knowledge of current email best practices, deliverability, CAN-SPAM legislation and email success metrics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach to quality checks
- Proficiency in coding emails using HTML, CSS, and LiquidScript. 1+ years experience working in Adobe Dreamweaver or other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of Marketing Automation with a focus on email marketing
- Experience with data management, analysis, presentation, and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively & effectively with cross-functional partners (design, Business Intelligence,
Product etc)
- Previous experience with Zeta Marketing Platform a huge plus
- Photoshop and Figma experience is a plus
- Aptitude and passion for art is a plus
