Curate & Co is looking for a full time Marketing Assistant to assist with marketing initiatives, including social media, influencer, and public relations projects.

What we are looking for:
- 0 - 2 years of relevant marketing experience.
- You’re proactive and hungry - you act and suggest without needing to be explicitly told what to do. You bring fresh ideas and improvement processes to the table on a regular basis.
- A love of writing and creative copywriting.
- Experience with and passion for social media platforms including Instagram, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- A demonstrated proficiency working in Microsoft Suite Programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Demonstrated proficiency working in Canva.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are hyper-focused on making clients happy!
- You can multi-task in your sleep and are not intimidated by handling tasks for multiple clients/accounts at once.
- You thrive on organization and will be able to set your own deadlines.
- An understanding of and passion for the food, restaurant, hospitality, travel, spirit, and wine industries and the brands that define the industry.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
The Day-to-Day Role:
- Brand Social Media Calendar Creation: Each month you will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and monitoring multiple client’s social media content calendars on multiple social media channels. This will include photo selection and Instagram feed curation, copywriting, ensuring that key initiatives are represented throughout the month, making client edits, scheduling the content on the corresponding social media feeds, monitoring for consumer interactions and collaboration opportunities, and collecting analytic reports.
- Social Media Advertising Campaigns: You will help design, schedule, monitor, and report on integrated social media advertising campaigns. This will include mocking up advertising creative and copy in Canva, researching consumer data to shape targeting tactics, scheduling ads in corresponding social media platforms, monitoring and reporting weekly on results, and being able to provide recommendations to clients on advertising pivots.
- Analytics and Data: Gather, clean, transform, and analyze social media, press coverage and influencer reports. Present your findings and recommendations back to Curate & Co. team.
- Copywriting: From social media posts to media pitches, you will be tasked with copywriting projects weekly.
- Research: Research potential new vendors including photographers, videographers, event locations, event production, florist, photoshoot locations.
- Influencer Research, Vetting and Outreach: Research, plan, conduct outreach, negotiate scope, and develop analytic reports for client influencer campaigns and initiatives. Manage influencer partnerships, deadlines, and content status to ensure influencer partnerships accomplish campaign goals and are completed on schedule.
- Photoshoot Assistance: When a photoshoot takes place, you will be responsible for helping develop a shot list, procure props, coordinate models and process payment, pack and unpack photoshoot props before and after photoshoots, run errands, and more.
- Administrative Work: Admin work will include shipping, coordinating client meetings and sending calendar invitations, keeping inventory of client samples, managing subscriptions, and more.
- Trends: Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
