The Lake Doctors, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our stakeholder acquisition initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer & employee engagement, and support sales growth. This is a pivotal role that requires creativity, leadership, and an eager desire to significantly impact the aquatic management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives and market expansion
- Coordinate and oversee all marketing activities, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and brand guidelines
- Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, website, handouts, and other marketing collateral, such as truck design, uniforms, tradeshow booths, and business cards.
- Manage the company's online presence, including website, social media channels, online store, and email marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer & employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to enhance effectiveness
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively across marketing initiatives
- Oversee public relations efforts, including community engagement, outreach, and charitable giving activities
- Foster relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within the environmental, landscape, or aquatic management sectors
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and analytics tools; Instagram, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Shopify experience a huge plus
- Proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns and managing brand messaging
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovative marketing solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Strong creative skills and experience managing a project
- Ability to analyze market research data to inform strategic decisions
- Exceptional writing and editing skills; experience creating engaging content
- Familiarity with graphic design software and basic design principles is a plus
- Ability to understand and adapt to industry trends and consumer behavior
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel for events, conferences, and meetings as needed
- Passion for the outdoors preferred

- Must have reliable transportation to and from work

- Work Remotely on a limited basis (1-2 days a week)
