About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager, Content & SEO to lead our website experience and drive our content strategy. In this pivotal role, you will focus on organic growth by executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies, leveraging AI tools and freelance writers to scale content production, and optimizing website conversion flows to achieve optimal results. As the head of one of our core marketing functions, you will report directly to the CMO, offering a unique opportunity to lay the foundation for the team and function, with significant growth potential as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company website using Webflow to ensure an optimal user experience
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings and drive traffic
- Build and optimize landing pages to maximize conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Create and execute a robust content strategy, including conducting thorough keyword research to inform content creation
- Leverage AI tools and freelance writers to scale content production efficiently, while maintaining authenticity, accuracy and value
- Optimize on-page and off-page SEO to improve website visibility and performance
- Monitor and analyze site performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to improve user experience and conversion rates
- Collaborate closely with development and design to ensure cohesive website functionality and aesthetics
- Establish and manage resources, scaling the content and SEO team as the company grows
- Provide strategic insights and updates on content and SEO performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, and website management, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies that drive organic growth
- Proficiency with Webflow or similar CMS platforms
- Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO best practices
- Experience with AI tools and managing freelance writers for content production
- Demonstrated ability to build and optimize landing pages for conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with development and design teams
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, with a proactive and adaptable approach to work
