THE ROLE:
Join AMD’s dynamic Digital Marketing Team where you will be at the forefront of defining and implementing digital strategy. You will work closely with product managers and segment leads to define and optimize digital marketing campaigns across AMD digital properties. This role involves deep collaboration with functional teams within Digital Marketing to enhance user engagement and drive business objectives for multiple different AMD product types. You will be part of a close-knit team that values innovation, creativity, and initiative.

We are seeking a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for digital marketing and user experience. You should excel at stakeholder collaboration, business analysis, content mapping, and data-driven decision-making. Your ability to create compelling user journeys and optimize web content will be crucial. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills and a solid understanding of web analytics. Experience in the semiconductor industry highly beneficial.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Strategy Development:
- Research and analyze behaviors and trends across various areas of the AMD.com web site.
- Collaborate with product management and segment leads to define AMD.com user personas, create journey maps, identify content needs, and establish KPIs.
- Utilize web analytics tools to provide performance insights on web content and user journeys.
- Make recommendations to create and improve content based on audience, customer journey, and conversion goals.
Content Management:
- Provide content maps for new or existing web pages, assets, and applications.
- Guide product marketing and Segment leads on developing content according to established formats, brand, and content strategy guides.
- Construct wireframes with approved copy and messaging, recommended imagery, and required metadata and tagging. Great copy writing skills is desirable.
- Actively manage the day-to-day prioritization and execution of digital marketing requests via ticketing system.
Technical Expertise:
- Ensure latest content is placed appropriately in the site hierarchy and contains proper classification meta-data to optimize site search functionality.
- Maintain a holistic view of AMD.com website and facilitate continual improvements to website navigation and information architecture.
- Engage in troubleshooting of issues in collaboration with digital marketing development teams.
Innovation and Process Improvement:
- Bring forward-thinking ideas and innovative approaches to enhance the quality and efficiency of our digital marketing efforts.
- Continually seek ways to improve processes and team proficiency, contributing to the evolution and optimization of internal tools and workflow processes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in digital strategy including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, web content management, and user experience optimization.
- High level of proficiency in Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or other web analytics tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholder teams and agency partners.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise.
- High attention to detail, well organized, and effective at time management.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a remote team.
- High degree of ownership and accountability
- Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry is preferred.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred.
- Training and Certifications in digital marketing courses.
LOCATION:
- San Jose, CA (or Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; Markham, Ontario, Canada)
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
