Overview:
The Marketing Specialist will build high-impact programs that drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and leads. The role will encompass PR, AR, social media, blogging, speaking opportunities, and other communications programs.
This position is a half-time contractor role (approximately 20 hours per week) with the potential to become a full time role in 6-12 months. You will report to the CMO.
The role is remote, but we prefer someone based in the SF Bay Area so they can participate in occasional in-person team meetings at our office in Los Altos.
Role:
- Create and manage plans and content for PR, AR, social media, blog, podcasts, thought leadership, awards, and other communication programs
- Expand social media programs on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to drive more followers, engagement, and leads
- Expand PR programs to drive more / better media coverage
- Pitch Wordly as a thought leadership speaker at events
- Enhance blog with more / better content to increase engagement and SEO impact
- Build AR programs to drive analyst coverage
- Capture photos / videos of Wordly team & product for use on social media, website, etc.
- Create a customer reference program to drive G2 reviews and case studies
- Manage and enhance Wordly brand guidelines
Skills:
- 3+ years B2B marketing communications experience, preferably with a SaaS / tech business
- Proven experience managing the items listed in the Roles section above
- Excellent planning & project management skills
- Graphic design and video creation skills are a plus
