Role Description:
As we expand our global marketing operations to support our rapid growth, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our team.
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future direction of our marketing efforts. Reporting to the COO, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, partner success, technology, HR, and legal teams to lead the development and execution of innovative marketing programs globally.
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive marketing operations experience, exceptional writing skills, and a keen sensitivity to tone in a global context.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily marketing operations and manage external resources
- Develop comprehensive market strategies, including brand development, go-to-market (GTM) plans, and product launches
- Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, including planning, segmentation, creative development, and execution
- Develop and manage the content engine
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Plan, manage, and execute the event calendar
- Support the delivery of press releases to promote brand visibility
- Manage the marketing budget to ensure effective and efficient spending
- Act as the brand champion, creating collateral to support various teams
- Monitor and analyze KPIs and metrics to track marketing performance and optimise strategies
- Provide mentorship and support to the Digital Marketing Executive
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and competitors
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior marketing leadership roles
- Deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and balance multiple large-scale projects
- Skilled storyteller capable of simplifying complex concepts and helping others to do the same
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills with sensitivity to cross-cultural and international communication
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate productively across teams
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies and campaigns
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- To be successful the Senior Marketing Manager will need to be able to come to the office 3-4 days each week.
