The Role:
Drive increased retail & DTC productivity by managing market/account data segmentation and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Insights Analyst is responsible for providing data analysis and actionable insights associated with retail/distributor accounts, products, customer demand, stock replenishment and other information related to customer accounts.
- In this role, you will be partnering with the global sales team to focus on improving productivity and efficiencies across our retail & DTC accounts by leveraging data/analytics.
- Support Commercial SVP in the compilation of regular monthly sales reports, KPI’s reports, presentations and other information as required.
- Support the Sales team for Go to Market on products and category analysis, post market launch performance analysis, and promotional ROI.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain and Finance teams within to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for data analysis.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing teams on the development of the tools, processes, and narratives to support team analytics.
- Create presentations and supporting documents to summarize analysis for key business stakeholders and decision makers.
- Interact with cross functional teams to gather required data for business performance drivers and seek out new sources of information to support team objectives.
- Derive strategic insight-based recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative data, communicate key findings and solutions to the stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience with demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Background in statistical or analytical methods with a degree in Mathematics / Statistics, Economics or Commerce.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in retail, supply chain or manufacturing.
- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital data analytical tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
- Good facilitation skills are required.
- Commercial experience working on enterprise data sets where data quality is a key consideration.
- Articulate, composed and excellent communication skills.
- Expected to be able to work within a multi-disciplinary group.
