Responsibilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading strategy development for both healthcare providers (HCP) and consumers. This includes the ability to understand and address the unique needs of these segments and create tailored strategies for each
- Mastery in managing the entire media pitch process, from the initial Request for Proposal (RFP) to the final delivery to the client. This includes developing a media strategy that aligns with the client's needs, creating a compelling pitch, story narrative and effectively communicating this strategy to the client
- Expertise in leading the new business RFP process. This includes the ability to craft a compelling strategic narrative, develop an effective media strategy, plan the channel mix, outline the investment approach, and establish the measurement parameters
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required. The individual should have the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to both internal teams and senior executives at client organizations
- Collaborate with media planning teams, research team, and other departments to define go-to-market strategies across all media channels Support media planning and analytics teams in their analysis of media activity in order to shape the story and callout key observations, insights and optimizations to meet strategic objectives
- Extract and apply data related to the brand, marketplace (i.e. competition, culture, macro-factors) and audiences to derive meaningful insights that will drive the strategy Provide POVs on go-to-market approaches as needed
- Train and mentor members of the media team to elevate their strategy and storytelling skills
- Train and mentor members of the media team in business, media and healthcare acumen
- Identify, design, and deliver opportunities for account growth and optimization, leveraging data and analytics to build a compelling business case
- Identify new opportunities to deliver revenue and instill data-driven practices Lead/collaborate on new business pitches, owning the narrative
Qualifications
- Requires 10-15+ years of experience in leading client media strategy with expert experience leading agency new business pitch process, communications planning, and media planning within US pharma/health agency roles or client-side roles
- Deep understanding of HCP (Healthcare Provider) and Patient media strategy development, especially in relation to new therapeutic launches and label extensions, is essential
- Proven experience in developing and executing patient and HCP segmentation, targeting, engagement strategy, and measurement approaches across various therapeutic areas, from ultra-rare to mass indications, is necessary
- A strong understanding of ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) through both short and long-term measurement, and performance marketing is required
- A deep understanding of cross-channel marketing, including TV, search, social programmatic, and display is a must
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, results, and concepts to senior executives and internal teams, are needed
- Experience in brand campaign and lead generation, with clear and established accountability metrics to assess effectiveness is crucial
- Strong writing and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project and team management experience, are required
- Comfort with and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your work
