Job Summary
The Director will be primarily responsible for leading the execution of the key marketing and promotional initiatives supporting Client's first commercial asset. The position requires a motivated, energetic candidate with a collaborative, “can-do” attitude, as well as previous pharmaceutical/biotech experience in a brand management role. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a key strategic and operational leadership role in a small and nimble organization, gain extensive exposure to all aspects of a US commercial team, and help to shape the vibrant culture and working processes of an emerging biotech company.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of the post-launch promotional platforms for creative campaign, messaging, media plan, digital, key materials for field force and non-personal delivery.
- Effectively translate clinical data and customer insights into promotional strategies, messaging and tactical planning.
- Manage creative agency to create and roll out real world data, guidelines, and other new messages as the brand evolves.
- Effectively drive tactics through the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory approval process.
- Collaborate effectively with the commercial field organization to communicate clear brand priorities and seek feedback to improve marketing tactics.
- Develop and deliver presentations to a range of internal stakeholders, including executive leadership team, and external audiences.
- Manage vendor/agency activities/performance, and all project budgets.
- Estimated 20-25% travel.
List Of Qualifications
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech or related industry.
- 2+ years previous pharmaceutical/biotech experience in Brand Management -- launch experience strongly preferred.
- Collaborative, flexible, “can-do” attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with influence across cross-functional groups.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success operating within US legal-regulatory environment affecting promotional activities.
- Experience preparing/delivering effective presentations to field-based and internal colleagues as well as corporate management.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
