About the Role:
We are seeking a well rounded, commercially focused Analytics and Strategy leader to play a critical role in our organization. You’ll lead a variety of strategic initiatives to drive impactful business outcomes and work closely with leadership across the company in finance, sales, field ops, and product. Your team will provide analytical and strategic support to various business functions and act as “connective tissue”, linking together operations, business development, product, and data teams. You’ll analyze key business drivers, work with leaders to identify financial, operational, and product improvements, and roll them out across the business.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring that our client and our commercial teams (sales, customer success,
- marketing) have the information and predictive ability that they need:
- Uncovering insights, forecasting, and predicting business needs
- Ensuring we are targeting the right sales prospects
- Ensuring that our clients and maximizing their market opportunity
- Looking across the company for data-driven improvement opportunities
- Building relationships with key client stakeholders and acting as a trusted source of truth
- Look to the future to pull insights and new predictive capabilities out of the data:
- Drive analyses and proposes initiatives that help us forecast and predict future demand, capture new market share, and improve business processes
- Follow and improve our processes for maintaining high quality data and reporting
- Drive continued scaling of the team
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience looking holistically at how companies and business planning work(e.g., investing, consulting, startup FP&A background).
- Understanding of what’s needed to make companies successful and can step back to focus on most critical levers
- Understanding of how to find and leverage the data you need and communicate your findings to make smarter, data-backed business decisions
- High attention to detail and ability to think structurally about a solution
- Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
- Structured approach to understanding what you are solving for, what data you need to answer the core problem while keeping things as simple as possible
- Past experience in fast-growing start-up environment (able to work scrappy, but also experience with and a line of sight to what scaled platform needs to look at, and can map out the plan and execute to close the gap)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate/partner successfully with leaders and teams across diverse set of functions and drive results through your own actions and influencing others
- Understanding of financial P+L (in addition to operational metrics), deviations from targets/forecasts, and ability to uncover why and follow up actions
