At EGR International and BlackLab Media, we are proud of the products and services we provide. We're poised to grow and are looking for a skilled Marketing Specialist to support our brand, assist in winning business opportunities, and contribute to dynamic marketing proposals tailored to client needs. Our ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of marketing, including strategy, ideation, content creation, proposal development, and marketing analytics.
You will work closely with the marketing and business development teams to create compelling presentations showcasing our diverse portfolio of services. Our four key areas of services include Consulting & Strategy (brand strategy, behavior change, strategic engagement), Creative Services (rendered by our in-house agency BlackLab Media), Live Experiences (meetings & events), and Channel Marketing (digital platforms, loyalty programs and more).

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Active participation in ideation sessions with EGR leadership, account executives, and other subject matter experts to strategize on solutions for our clients' most pressing needs.
- Create compelling marketing proposals, case studies, and client-facing materials that effectively communicate our value proposition and resonate with target audiences.
- Assist the sales team by providing tailored materials and support to effectively pitch our services and meet client needs.
- Maintain brand consistency across all external content, ensuring alignment with our brand guidelines and messaging.
- Conduct in-depth vendor research, evaluating new platforms, technologies, and vendors to guide strategic sourcing decisions.
- Stay current on relevant industry trends, providing valuable insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Manage and oversee client gifting, ensuring a seamless and thoughtful experience.
- Oversee Changemakers - the company's corporate social responsibility initiative, fostering a culture of community engagement and social responsibility.
Social Media:
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director to develop creative strategies for social media content across various platforms.
- Project manage social media initiatives, ensuring the creative team is informed of upcoming posts and content creation needs, and maintaining content production schedules.
- Coordinate with the Art Director to obtain visually appealing short videos and other multimedia elements designed to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Schedule and post social media content using a content calendar.
- Track and analyze social media content performance metrics to inform and refine future strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports on social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to optimize content strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 0-2 years of prior experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis, with a knack for identifying opportunities and making data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with marketing best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Capcut, and After Effects.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Knowledge of Asana and HubSpot is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative, think creatively, and drive projects independently.
- Recording and editing podcasts is a plus but not required.
- Video and photography work is a plus but not required.
The salary range for this position will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and the geographic location of the candidate.
