seeking an experienced and passionate Event Manager to join our expanding team. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing successful events that leave a lasting impression on attendees and clients. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a creative mindset to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, from budget planning and venue selection to event logistics and post-event evaluations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and objectives for the event, and ensure that they are met within the given budget and timeline
- Source and negotiate with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment, to provide the best services and value for the event
- Work with marketing and design teams to develop event themes, branding, and promotional materials
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to stakeholders
- Coordinate event staff, including event coordinators, volunteers, and security personnel, and provide guidance and support to ensure smooth execution of the event
- Create contingency plans and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the event
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback from attendees and clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management
- Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with clients, vendors, and team members
- Creative mindset with the ability to come up with unique and innovative event ideas
- Attention to detail and ability to handle logistics and budgets
- Proficient in event management software and tools
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to oversee events
