Job Description
We are searching for a Marketing Director for our fast growing client in the footwear industry. The Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing plan and driving overall marketing strategy for the brand. This leader will oversee the execution of wholesale retail marketing plans, own their website, and support product launches in alignment with the brand values. The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about growing brands.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Leadership:
- Collaborate with the CMO to develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that enhance the brand’s market positioning focused on wholesale and performance marketing.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels (digital, print, retail, social media, etc.).
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring all content aligns with the brand voice and vision.
Campaign Management
- Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of e-com & wholesale marketing campaigns to drive engagement, sales, and brand loyalty.
- Oversee product launches, promotions, and collaborations on the website and with external partners.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor the external marketing partners, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, product development, and finance to ensure alignment on business objectives.
Digital Performance Strategy
- Develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid media campaigns.
- Drive the growth of the brand's online presence by enhancing engagement and building strong brand communities.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Monitor key metrics including ROI, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value to inform future campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a proven track record of success in brand management.
- Expertise in digital marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire external partners.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with footwear, fashion, or consumer goods industries preferred.
