Overview: As the Managing Director of Marketing, you will lead our marketing strategy and initiatives to elevate our brand within the Deep Tech sector, focusing on aerospace, defense, space exploration, cyber security, and related industry segments. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a strong understanding of these industries, who can drive innovative branding, creative design, content creation, and event management to enhance our market presence and foster growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals, emphasizing brand growth and industry leadership in Deep Tech sectors.
- Brand Management: Oversee branding initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment with the company’s vision and values. Champion brand awareness and equity through innovative campaigns and messaging.
- Creative Direction: Lead the creative team in producing high-quality, engaging content across all platforms. Foster a culture of creativity and innovation to differentiate our brand in a competitive market.
- Content Creation: Direct the development of compelling content, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, and social media, that positions the company as a thought leader in aerospace, defense, space exploration, and cyber security. WEB
- Team Management: Build and manage a high-performing marketing team. Provide mentorship, foster professional development, and encourage collaboration to drive exceptional results.
- Event Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, trade missions, and webinars to showcase our expertise and connect with potential clients and partners.
- Industry Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and clients to enhance brand visibility and influence within the Deep Tech landscape.
- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and report on outcomes.
- Communications & Image: Establish a strategy to manage the reputation of 47G in partnership with stakeholders to mitigate risks and protect the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the Deep Tech sector.
- Proven track record of successfully growing a brand and driving marketing strategies in aerospace, defense, space exploration, or cyber security.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities within Deep Tech.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficient in marketing analytics tools and CRM systems.
