Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join their growing team!
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25 – $30/hr
Position Overview
The ideal Marketing and Communications Coordinator candidate will collaborate closely with the Communications and Marketing Director to ensure a consistent voice across all channels. This Marketing and Communications Coordinator role involves supporting the development and execution of both short- and long-term strategies for internal and external editorial, campaign, and content work.
Responsibilities Of The Marketing And Communications Coordinator
- Assist in creating, managing, maintaining, and enforcing editorial and brand guidelines, processes, and cross-departmental content boards/calendars
- Conceptualize, write, edit, distribute, and promote a variety of content, including newsletters, organizational profiles, executive messages, calls-to-action, blog posts, feature articles, scripts, fundraising appeals, fact sheets, position statements, and marketing copy for the website and social media
- Lead and produce high-visibility editorial projects, such as new media initiatives like the company’s podcast and annual impact report
- Oversee and manage company’s digital presence, including online communities and service platforms, organic and paid social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), email marketing (e.g., MailChimp, Quorum), and website content
- Grow and engage company’s social media audience and email subscribers, enhancing reach and interaction levels
- Act as a communications and editorial resource for company staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications For The Marketing And Communications Coordinator
- 1 to 3 years experience in marketing communications
- Proven ability to develop and implement content strategies and editorial guidelines across multiple platforms
- Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and familiarity with digital marketing tools like MailChimp and content management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of upholding high standards for content quality and consistency
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and online engagement strategies is a plus
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
