Job Description:
Leong Leong is currently seeking a talented and motivated Part-time Freelance Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team in New York City. As a Part-time Freelance Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will work closely with the Partner and senior leadership to support the firm's ongoing communication and marketing efforts. Candidates must exhibit excellent writing, organizational, graphic design, communication and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing:
- Organize and manage project assets (photos, drawings, renderings, miscellaneous didactics)
- Review, extract/clarify and track RFP/Q and Awards Submissions brief requirements
- Assist in RFP/Q and Awards Submissions
- Assist in Portfolio Development (standardizing templates, updating project pages, copywriting)
- Manage and implement website content and updates
- Develop, manage and implement Quarterly Newsletters
- Develop regular marketing reports to firm leadership
- Business development-related tasks
- Assist in coordinating outreach and networking
- Assist in lead research
- Photography Coordination
- Update assets + messaging
- Communications:
- Manage and assist in developing communications content and messaging
- Manage and implement Wikipedia content and updates
- Develop, manage and implement social media strategy, content, and updates/postings
- Develop press releases and coordinate with press outlets
- Respond to media requests
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in marketing/communications for an architecture or design firm and/or the arts
- Familiarity with press and media practices
- Advanced knowledge of content creation for social media platforms
- Excellent graphic design sensibility for asset selection and layout
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must handle confidential and high level information with utmost discretion and diplomacy (NDA is required)
- Self- motivated and team-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite and Adobe programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Fluent in English

This position is on a part-time basis and is estimated to require a commitment of 5-10 hours/week. The hourly range is $35-40/hr which is based on received information on local markets; hourly rate will be contingent on relevant experience.
