The Brand Guild is hiring a Vice President of Growth to lead the strategy and execution ofbusiness development across the agency. Reporting directly to the Co-CEO, the VP will lead the Growth team, which works collaboratively across all departments to grow our client roster, reputation, and bottom line. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing our agency, identifying the right opportunities and crafting winning pitches in order to fuel our agency’s next phase of growth.
The Brand Guild is a brand-building agency that works with some of the most dynamic companies in the consumer lifestyle, food & beverage, commercial real estate, and tech-enabled consumer sectors. Our all-in approach to brand creation and storytelling creates critical momentum for our clients’ brand strategy, public relations, marketing, creative and events initiatives.
Note: This position is hybrid, with three days a week in our NYC office.
You have:
- 10+ years of experience in business development, with significant consumer agency experience preferred, along with a proven winning track record
- Proven ability to manage and mentor teams
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools

You will:
- Lead new business opportunities from beginning to end – managing the people, the process, and the output. This will include vetting opportunities, crafting proposals, devising plans to win new business, and shepherding pitches from kickoff to close
- Manage prospecting efforts with a collaborative, long-term, and relationship-based approach to selling
- Work collaboratively with whip smart department heads across our practice areas as you craft innovative solutions for prospective clients
- Lead efforts for marketing the agency - including collaborating on agency content strategy, increasing executive presence, and identifying and attending networking events
- Manage a growing team, not only in their work product but also in their career journey
- Passionately share The Brand Guild story, believe in our method, and showcase a deep knowledge of our integrated approach to client work
