The full-time Director of Strategic Marketing will manage all aspects of our marketing strategy and act as the leader of our key members of the marketing team. This important role will oversee ideating new strategic directions for our marketing efforts, setting specific campaign objectives and KPIs based on your research and analysis, and ensuring/enforcing brand alignment and the quality of our marketing assets. This individual will also formulate marketing, PR, and Communications plans and strategies, conduct market analysis, and develop content for various platforms.
This role requires outstanding multitasking and project management skills and extensive experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in travel retail.

It’s headquartered in Vining, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. This position will work out of the Atlanta office.
General
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support business development efforts by pinpointing the company’s target audience segments and analyzing their specific needs.
- Analyze sales and marketing metrics to gain valuable insights for future marketing efforts and forecast market trends.
- Set short-term and long-term marketing goals and appropriate KPIs and ensure the marketing goals align with overall business plans by working with cross-functional teams.
- Set and manage the marketing budget and ensure proper allocation of resources to various marketing projects.Social Media:
- Manage all social media accounts for Paradies Lagardère, Vino Volo, and President & CEO Gregg Paradies to properly promote the organization’s successes and offerings to the key target segments with the industry

- Properly manage any independent agencies that contribute to the planning, design, and execution of all social media efforts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and others.
Social Media
- Manage all social media accounts for Paradies Lagardère, Vino Volo, and President & CEO Gregg Paradies to properly promote the organization’s successes and offerings to the key target segments with the industry.
- Oversee content creation, posting schedules, engagement strategies, and performance tracking.
- Properly manage any independent agencies that contribute to the planning, design, and execution of all social media efforts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and others.
PR / Communications
- Oversee the organization’s Contact List Management; ensure processes for updating the list as needed and manage CRM-type tools such as Salesforce, etc.
- Lead efforts to develop ideas and execute press releases that promote the company’s key announcements, successes, and brand/airport/business partners
- Properly manage any independent PR firms with the goal of elevating the organization’s work and efforts in key areas, both inside and outside the industry.
- Assist with any PR-related issues or PR crisis management as needed.
Marketing
- Manage content and proper operation of all Paradies Lagardère websites, including the main web site, the Vino Volo web site, and the company intranet site.
- Develop and execute direct marketing campaigns (e.g., email) targeting concessions decision makers in airports with prioritized brands, programs, and successes.
- Manage the production of all advertising opportunities, including industry publications (e.g., AXN),in-airport ads, conference sponsorship-related ads, and other industry opportunities.
- In partnership with the Director of Corporate Marketing, define the need for and manage the development of all corporate collateral, including retail, dining, Vino Volo and all related projects.
- Direct the need for a library of video content and photography for use in collateral, web sites, social media, presentations, etc.; utilize and plan to guide the proper “storytelling” of our brand partners and concessions offerings.
- Contribute to annual industry award submissions with additional pursuit of awards outside the immediate industry (e.g., store/restaurant design awards, hospitality awards, etc.).
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and other content creation tools.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Online analytics, and related programs.
- Computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
