Rezolute is a late-stage rare disease company focused on significantly improving outcomes for individuals with hypoglycemia caused by hyperinsulinism (HI). Our antibody therapy, RZ358 (ersodetug), is designed to treat all forms of HI and has shown substantial benefit in clinical trials and real-world use for the treatment of congenital hyperinsulinism (cHI) and tumor hyperinsulinism (tHI).
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Commercial Officer will work closely with the CEO and Rezolute’s executive leadership team to shape and execute the company’s strategy and priorities for growth. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in the strategic future, leading the commercial activities globally as we launch our first products.
This individual will be responsible for driving growth in Rezolute’s commercial operations. As a member of the executive leadership team, this individual will drive the go-to-market strategy for product launch and commercialization ensuring the seamless execution of the commercial growth and marketing agenda while managing all aspects of the commercial team.
Responsibilities: Rezolute is seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer capable of providing leadership, direction and vision with the aptitude to drive commercial growth and excellence, as Rezolute looks to launch its first products globally. You will be an innovative commercial leader who establishes and oversees the successful direction, planning and execution of company policies, objectives, initiatives and deliverables.
- Drives prelaunch plans and the go-to-market strategy, ensuring its alignment to support the growth plan, the achievement of the financial objectives and the optimization of synergies and collaboration across the enterprise and successful product commercialization.
- Defines and implements commercial strategy, including planning product. Works with the executive leadership team to identify challenges, opportunities, and action plans to ensure the achievement of commercial targets.
- Supports the CEO and the rest of the executive leadership team in the development of a strategic plan and is part of all major growth/development initiatives including maximizing product value and profitability.
- Develops and implements Rezolute’s strategic direction in collaboration with the executive leadership team. Identifies opportunities for growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage. Sets clear goals and objectives aligned with the company’s vision.
- Stays informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape. Conducts market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and adapts Rezolute’s strategy accordingly.
- Captures market facts/dynamics and reports business relevant insights to support KOL and patient engagement and products by offering development and competitive readiness.
- Supports/leads the initiatives aimed to improve commercial operation efficiency and collaboration.
- Responsible for leading and further developing the biopharma commercial team. Will lead efforts to expand the commercial organization, attracting world class commercial talent.
Qualifications: As Chief Commercial Officer you will be expected to have extremely strong commercial, marketing and business development expertise, combined with the ability to succeed at a strategic, tactical and operational level, with excellent global experience and cultural sensitivity. You will bring outstanding internal and external communication skills, leadership and an inclusive pro-active approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred with a minimum of 15 years of experience in global executive roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, ideally leading commercial and business development go-to-market teams.
- Extensive knowledge of the biopharmaceutical drug development industry. Experience in rare, ultra rare and orphan disease therapies is required.
- Rezolute is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer with substantial rare disease experience who can provide leadership, direction and vision with the aptitude to drive commercial growth and excellence, as Rezolute looks to launch its first products globally.Must have experience in successful rare disease biopharmaceutical drug product launches.

Rezolute (RZLT) currently anticipates the base salary for the Chief Commercial Officer role could range from $380,000 to $450,000 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s geographical location and their qualifications for the role, including education and experience. This position will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan (depending, in part, on company and individual performance and at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis). The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on current market survey data and the qualifications, education, experience and geographical location of the selected candidate.
