The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a
Marketing Specialist- Events & Conferences, to join our dynamic team
Commercial Air Conditioning Team based in Alpharetta, GA. As part of the Channel Marketing Team, the Marketing Specialist Events & Conferences will support development, administration, and execution of local, regional, and national events and conferences. The Marketing Specialist will provide project management services for events and conferences to ensure activities are executed on time, within budget, and in a quality and professional manner.
- Project management for all CAC events and conferences including budget tracking and AP management
- Venue contract administration including RFP development and processing of final contract per LG guidelines
- Event/conference registration management
- Room block management
- Coordination and tracking of event elements including:
- Décor
- Food & beverage
- Meeting space
- Transportation
- Offsite activities
- Outside speakers
- Other elements as required to support goals/objectives
- Pre-event materials coordination and personalization
- Onsite event support
- Ensure post event survey is distributed in a timely manner
- Collect and organize survey results for event report/summary of effectiveness to goal
- Assist partner network in development, implementation and results tracking of local events
- Ensure all processes for contract management and invoice payments are in line with LG guidelines
- Coordinate with CAC Marketing Team members to ensure a cohesive message and face to the market
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or general business
- 2-4+ years in support role for development and delivery of regional/national events for Fortune 500 organization(s) – preferably with average attendee base of 100+ .
- Familiarity with venue contract management, registration process management, and room block administration
- Strong Excel skills
- CVENT and Microsoft Office Suite expertise
- Ability to proficiently adapt to process technologies such as Sales Force, Pardot and others as identified and implemented by LG
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization including top level management
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy
- Deadline driven
- Professional demeanor and ability to interface with partners and customers of all levels
