Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, a powerhouse firm with the heart of a boutique, is seeking a marketing assistant to support the development of high-quality communications assets and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a digital native, fluent in modern digital tools and platforms, to support the delivery of marketing communications services related to content marketing, website, events, public relations, and internal communications. This position is based in the firm’s downtown New York City office and reports to the Director of Business Development and Marketing. Responsibilities and requirements include the following:
Digital Marketing and Communications:
- Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing content for the firm’s website, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Assist in sending and reporting on direct email campaigns, including event invitations, client advisories/newsletters, and internal communications, using an email marketing tool and client relationship management platform (CRM).
- Administer website updates to various pages on kelleydrye.com, including practice-specific blogs, through a content management system.
- Track and update information in the CRM, project management software, and related technology platforms.
Events:
- Assist in planning seminars, webinars and live programs, including creating and distributing invitations, managing registrations, coordinating event logistics, and providing on-site and virtual support.
- Help with post-event follow-up activities and measurement of ROI.
- Track event-related information and client intelligence in a CRM.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the business development team with the implementation of marketing tactics set forth in attorney and practice group business plans.
- Provide administrative support to and develop reports for the marketing team.
- Support or manage special projects as needed and other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., email marketing tools, CRM, Hubspot, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and customer-service mindset suitable to working in a professional office environment.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, including the ability to work independently on assigned projects, and to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy of work product, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in New York City if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g., JD/technology) for example. New York City Salary: $55,000.
