Email Marketing Operations Coordinator
NewselaWe are excited to announce an opportunity for a detail-oriented and results-driven Email Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the deployment calendar and coordinating email schedules, ensuring quality assurance, and monitoring the performance of our email channel. You will support the execution of marketing emails to guarantee they are delivered accurately, render correctly, and adhere to industry best practices.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Email Execution and Quality Assurance
- Manage the Deployment Calendar: Help execute and schedule all promotional, nurture, and operational emails within Marketo.
- Technical Build: Assist in building, testing, and deploying email assets from approved templates, ensuring accurate personalization tokens, dynamic content, and segmentation logic.
- QA Support: Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) checks, including link validation, list suppression, rendering across major email clients, and proofreading before each deployment.
- Deliverability Management: Track deliverability metrics (bounce rates, spam complaints) and troubleshoot basic deliverability issues to maintain a strong sender reputation.
- A/B Testing: Configure and manage A/B tests for subject lines, content, and send times to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Template Management & Optimization
- HTML/CSS Maintenance: Work with pre-approved HTML/CSS email templates, making minor coding edits and dynamic content adjustments to meet campaign requirements.
- Process Efficiency: Document and refine the email deployment process to boost efficiency while minimizing errors.
- Compliance: Ensure all email deployments comply with global data privacy and anti-spam regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key email performance metrics, including Open Rates, Click-Through Rates (CTR), Conversion Rates, and Unsubscribes.
- Provide actionable insights to the team based on email performance trends to inform future content strategy and segmentation.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in email marketing execution, ideally in a B2B context.
- Proficiency with a Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot; Marketo experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge as it pertains to email development and troubleshooting rendering issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex deployments under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with UTM tracking, its purpose, and its relation to email links and campaign attribution.
