United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona (UCPSA) is seeking a creative, resourceful, and digitally savvy Part-Time Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help strengthen our brand, expand our digital presence, and share the stories of the people and communities we serve. UCPSA provides home and community-based services for children and adults with disabilities and older adults throughout Southern Arizona. Our mission is meaningful, our culture is collaborative, and our work changes lives every day.
We are looking for someone who can translate that impact into compelling digital content. This role is ideal for a communications or marketing professional who enjoys variety, works well independently, brings fresh ideas to the table, and is looking for meaningful work with a flexible part-time schedule.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll help shape how UCPSA shows up online and in the community.
Responsibilities include
- Help develop and strengthen UCPSA's digital brand and online presence
- Manage and update website content to ensure information is current, engaging, and easy to navigate
- Create, schedule, and manage content across UCPSA's social media platforms
- Develop email newsletters, internal communications, announcements, and promotional materials
- Write and edit stories that highlight UCPSA's employees, programs, families, community partnerships, events, and impact
- Support digital marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement, recruitment, and community visibility
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across communication channels
- Create or coordinate photography and visual content for digital and print use
- Assist with event promotion and community outreach communications
- Review website, email, and social media performance data and identify opportunities to improve engagement
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify stories, communication needs, and marketing opportunities
- Stay current on emerging digital marketing practices, communication trends, and technology
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, advertising, social media, or a closely related field
- Experience creating content for social media, websites, newsletters, or other digital platforms
- Experience working within a website content management system
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to quickly learn new technology and software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and follow projects through to completion
- A combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience may be considered when it demonstrates the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and an acceptable driving record when driving is required for position responsibilities
- Ability to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass comprehensive background checks (ex. Adult Protective Services, Department of Child Safety etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
We'd be especially interested in candidates who bring one or more of the following:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related discipline
- Experience working for a nonprofit, human services, healthcare, disability services, or other mission-focused organization
- Photography and/or video production experience
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar graphic design tools
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, social media insights, or other digital performance tools
- Understanding of SEO, content strategy, digital branding, and audience engagement
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across several communication channels
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

- Collaborate effectively with employees, leadership, community partners, and outside vendors
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences
Physical Requirements
This position is generally classified as light work.
Employees may occasionally need to move or carry items weighing up to approximately 20 pounds and frequently handle lighter materials or equipment.
The role also involves regular computer use and may include periods of sitting, standing, walking, taking photographs, attending meetings, and participating in UCPSA or community events.
