Digital Marketing Coordinator
SUMMARY
A leading global law firm is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to support its Communications team, which is responsible for elevating the firm’s profile and promoting the accomplishments of its attorneys. This second-shift position offers an opportunity to contribute to a sophisticated digital marketing program that operates with the same high standards and responsiveness the firm provides to its clients. The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of digital content, including thought leadership and external announcements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong writing abilities, and bring an interest in marketing analytics. This position combines collaborative work with independent responsibilities to support cross-office digital initiatives across email, web, social media, and other channels.
Scheduled hours for this position are 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET, and overtime is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the distribution of thought leadership pieces and email campaigns using platforms such as Vuture or Dispatch, including content setup, audience list creation, and tracking of engagement metrics.
- Support SEO initiatives by reviewing website performance, enhancing content, and applying best practices with tools such as Conductor.
- Use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to assess digital performance and provide actionable insights.
- Identify gaps in current digital efforts, conduct ongoing benchmarking, and refine strategies that support broader organizational goals.
- Partner with Communications colleagues to promote firm updates, thought leadership, and media mentions across digital channels including email, website, and social platforms.
- Work with Business Development teams on targeted outreach and client-focused digital strategies, including region-specific initiatives. Assist with updating and optimizing website content and attorney biographies using a CMS.
- Monitor digital platforms beyond standard business hours to ensure functionality and timely delivery of content.
- Review and edit outgoing communications to maintain accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the firm’s brand voice.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, including gathering precedents, editing, fact-checking, proofreading, compiling content, and coordinating with attorneys and staff at various seniority levels.
- Adhere to firmwide policies regarding confidentiality and information security, including safeguarding sensitive data and reporting potential security concerns as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, and research skills (a writing and proofreading assessment will be administered).
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems proactively, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of assignments and maintains a high standard of work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable handling high-visibility, time-sensitive tasks while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a global team.
- Capable of using sound judgment in a fast-paced, demanding environment, balancing requests from multiple stakeholders across time zones.
- Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality, professional work.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- One to three years of experience in a law firm, financial institution, or similarly fast-paced setting.
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Vuture, HubSpot, Mailchimp), web content management systems, and CRM platforms. Training will be provided for core systems as needed.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in common office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Zoom.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
