Maven is hiring a VP, Demand Generation to help millions access Maven's exceptional care for women and families by leading a team that inspires, educates, and activates employers and health plans to offer Maven's fertility, maternity, parenting & pediatrics, and menopause tracks.
To be great at this role, you're an exceptional B2B demand generation strategist who can both deeply analyze and clearly communicate Maven's approach to pipeline generation against aggressive growth targets (b) an inspiring "player-coach" adept at managing teams through change and up-leveling B2B marketing capabilities and (c) a "driver" who innovates on existing strategies and channels, while knowing where to "double down" on what's working well.
You'll own the B2B Demand Generation strategy, partnering closely with our Sales, Client Success, and Product Marketing teams to meet company pipeline targets while driving prioritization and execution alignment to do so. You don't hesitate to drive progress across teams amidst uncertainty, and have an unyielding bias for action.
You also have deep B2B Marketing expertise leading and partnering with teams to craft and implement personalized campaigns for target accounts, expanding our inbound and outbound efforts through diverse channels including email, events, webinars, content syndication, and social media. We're looking for a proactive, analytical, and metrics-driven leader who thrives in setting and executing strategy with a proven track record of scaling and optimizing ABM, demand generation, CRO & SEO tactics across the marketing funnel in the ever-changing ambiguity of successful startup environments.
As VP, Demand Generation, you will:
- Lead and scale the growth marketing function and team across Demand Generation, ABX, Events, Marketing Operations, SEO and CRO, setting a growth strategy that achieves and supports Maven's revenue goals
- Define a strategy that clearly segments, sizes, and prioritizes Maven's B2B audiences and corresponding marketing strategies to achieve aggressive pipeline growth targets
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies that span the entire marketing funnel, from awareness to conversion; Regularly report on overall and channel-specific ROI
- Develop paid marketing strategies and manage a team to execute against those strategies, including budget management and planning, channel allocation, and channel testing
- Analyze our current processes and tech stack for executing and analyzing the B2B Marketing effectiveness, actioning improvements across teams where needed
- Set the operating rhythm to provide regular performance reports, forecasts, escalations, insights, and recommendations to the executive team and cross-functional leadership
- Proactively address talent needs, fostering a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top marketing talent; Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire a diverse team and influence cross-functional partners
We're looking for you to bring:
- 15+ years of marketing experience, with at least 7 years as a leader focused on demand generation in B2B SaaS or Health Tech
- Demonstrated experience building and leading high performing teams, fostering a high-performance culture, and improving organizational health.
- Proven experience managing complex marketing organizations and developing and implementing successful B2B marketing strategies at scale
- Strong track record of driving business outcomes through strategic and operational excellence navigating organizational culture and influencing decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with executive-level stakeholders and representing the company externally.
- A "driver" mindset adeptly partners with across teams to drive swift progress and action toward our company pipeline goal, and resolves any ambiguity to do so
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve ambiguous problems, introducing new solutions and driving transformation.
- Deep expertise in tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Looker, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Asana.
The base salary range for this role is $220,000 - $280,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
