Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager at Mirror Palais
Position Overview:
Mirror Palais is seeking a creative and commercially-driven Social Media Manager to oversee and execute an integrated social media strategy across multiple platforms. In collaboration with Founder & Designer Marcelo Gaia, President Melissa Hopkes, and the Head of Digital, the Social Media Manager will enhance brand awareness, grow audience engagement, and contribute to driving revenue. This role requires a passion for art, film, fashion, pop culture, strong social media expertise, and a keen understanding of how to leverage digital trends to foster growth. The ideal candidate possesses the natural understanding of Brand aesthetics, balanced with an organized approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
- Develop & Execute Social Media Strategy: In partnership with Founder, President and Head of Digital, lead the creation and execution of a cohesive social media strategy across key platforms - TikTok and Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Content Calendar & Planning: Manage Mirror Palais’ content calendar, ensuring timely production and posting of content across platforms. Organize asset libraries through appropriate tagging, file and folder naming conventions. Coordinate launch of campaigns, including product launches, events, and collaborations in alignment with directives from Founder and President.
- Brand Consistency & Innovation: Maintain Mirror Palais’ voice across all platforms while innovating with fresh, engaging content ideas that align with the brand’s luxury, inclusive, and playful image.
- Content Production: Coordinate and/or execute content generation for all platforms, including photo/video shoots, editing, and copywriting. Ensure all content reflects the brand's identity and resonates with the target audience.
Engagement & Community Management
- Audience Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to community interactions, including comments, DMs, and mentions. Maintain a positive relationship with followers, fans, and influencers. Share relevant audience communication internally with the company.
Influencer & Partnership Management
- Influencer Marketing: Develop strategic partnerships with key influencers that align with Mirror Palais’ vision to drive awareness and engagement.
- Digital Collaborations & Partnerships: Identify potential brand partnerships and collaborations that align with Mirror Palais’ goals. Partner with Wholesale team to develop key activations with our online partners.
Paid Media & Performance Reporting
- Paid Social Campaigns: Partner with the Founder and Head of Digital to strategize, develop and optimize paid social campaigns. Support in creating and formatting content and writing copy specifically for Paid.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Ensure proper use of UTM tracking across all digital touchpoints. Provide weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights to improve performance.
Trendspotting & Digital Innovation
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends, tools, and technologies. Implement new platforms, social tools, or innovations to increase reach, improve efficiency, and stay ahead of competitors.
- Digital Tools: Proficient in social media scheduling, reporting, and optimization tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Canva).
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience & Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a luxury fashion brand or similar industry.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or similar for creating high-quality visual content.
- Strong photography skills with an eye for styling and curating content.
- Ability to write compelling, engaging copy with a unique, playful, and irreverent tone.
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, content optimization, and audience segmentation.
