Job Description
Your role at Tumi:
This is a temporary assignment for a duration of approximately 2 months.
The Temporary Marketing & PR Coordinator will provide support for the Marketing department, based in New York City. This position requires the candidate to act as a liaison between Marketing department and all other departments within the organization, as well as third party vendors. The Marketing & PR Coordinator has the responsibility to support the Marketing team on PR and Social related projects, focused on sample coordination, management, and distribution for key press, gifting, seeding initiatives as well as ad hoc presentation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage smooth and efficient email communications with internal teams, PR agencies, and external partners.
- Coordinate gifting and seeding orders for key campaigns and ad-hoc moments.
- Oversee sending of samples and manage UPS tracking for shipments.
- Track packages for shoots, gifting, and other product-related deliveries.
- Assist with press coordination and support day-to-day communications.
- Support processing invoices and POs and assist with PowerPoint presentations.
We're Excited If You Have
- The successful candidate will have 1 - 2 plus years' experience in project management within marketing/creative industry
- Extremely strong organizational skills required
- Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written
- Excellent strategic thinking skills and pro-active at anticipating and troubleshooting problems
- Able to adapt to various situations and workflow
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Windows applications and photoshop
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and quickly shift between various tasks and responsibilities
- Experience in photoshoot production is preferred
- Candidate needs to be able to learn new technologies easily and independently
