Role Description
The Vice President of Marketing will grow and scale our world-class, fast growing organization and be part of the executive leadership team taking the company to its next level of growth. In this role, you will lead and manage the marketing team to deliver key results in Acquisition & Organic Marketing, Brand and Creative, Content & Email Management, Engagement and Retention Strategies, Lifecycle Management, Analytics, Affiliates, social media as well as Communications. This role will cover leadership over multiple e-commerce brands we acquire and begin with 2+ current brands.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee paid media strategy, marketing funnels, and creatives.
- Oversee content marketing and email programs across portfolio brands.
- Generate revenue by increasing sales and growth through successful marketing for the entire organization by making data driven decisions on Paid Media Strategy, Organic Marketing, Content Creatives, Influencer Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.
- Design effective campaigns that communicate our brands in a way that resonates with and motivates our target market, driving increased sales and acquisitions.
- Provide ongoing tracking, measurement, KPI, and ROI analysis for marketing initiatives and campaigns to provide clear, actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- What we look for: 5+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in marketing leadership roles, including experience scaling a growing team, managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets with a d2c e-commerce company, and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Experience leading marketing at a company or startup in hyper-growth and growing a startup marketing team through analytics, social media, and technology.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering on multi-channel growth metrics, such as paid media strategy, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, seo marketing, & viral media content.
- Experience developing strategy and executing conversion rate optimization.
- Has owned a P&L Build up a marketing and growth team with decision making deeply rooted in data via testing and iteration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality when needed.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills combined with the ability to implement plans.
- Proactive and energetic, with an ability to motivate a team.
