Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Creative Director with extensive experience in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) or sports gambling industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with major players in the DFS or sports betting sector, such as DraftKings, FanDuel, MGM, or ESPN. This role will be crucial in overseeing all marketing content and strategies, ensuring that our brand message is consistent, engaging, and resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative vision and execution of all marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with our brand’s core values and objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content across all channels, including digital, social media, video, and print.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing efforts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external creative agencies and vendors to produce top-tier marketing materials.
- Mentor and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the DFS or sports gambling industry.
- Proven success in developing and executing large-scale marketing campaigns for major brands.
- Strong understanding of the sports betting and daily fantasy sports markets.
- Exceptional creative and strategic thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in creative software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant applications.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of sports culture and fandom.
