Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to fill the unique role of Senior Content Marketing Manager on our marketing team.
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention throughout the customer journey. Working closely with the Creative Director and Marketing VP, this position will oversee the planning, creation, and distribution of compelling content across various channels, including digital platforms, email marketing, blogs, and more. You will utilize your expertise in customer marketing to optimize customer journeys, enhance customer experiences, and maximize customer lifetime value. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of both content marketing and customer journey management principles. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement end-to-end customer nurture strategy
- Help build and maintain partnership relationships with key customers
- Build nurture campaigns to guide customers through the customer journey
- Create compelling and strategic events messaging
- Lead vertical marketing initiatives by writing case studies and whitepapers, often in collaboration with customers and partners
- Create strategies that help convert customers and generate sales
- Develop product marketing campaigns that driver conversions, waitlist signups and product adoption
- Work closely with Demand Generation, Events, and Design to create and optimize full-funnel campaigns utilizing ads, sales materials, webinars, presentations, and webpages
- Maintain and enhance the company’s brand voice and writing style guide
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing in B2B
- Technologically minded with experience writing in IoT or related industries
- Experience in creating and executing strategies, testing, and optimizing customer journeys
- A portfolio of work showcasing strong content writing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and prioritize and resolve complex problems
- Experience managing a team of writers or contractors
- Proficient in Hubspot, especially in building, writing, sending, and reporting on campaigns.
- Data-driven with experience in collecting and reporting related metrics
- A sense of ownership, dedication, and commitment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to work remotely with a diverse and multi-cultural team
- Self-managing and able to set and complete deadlines
- Occasionally travel for events and team offsites
Additional Skills That Would Be Helpful But Not Required:
- WordPress blog management and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience in helping build and implement SEO strategies into content by using tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs
- Experience writing compelling pieces that translate and simplify the complexities of AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and other technically complex systems for marketing and advertising materials
