Job Summary:
The Vice President, Marketing is responsible for leading and executing innovative marketing strategies to promote our Big Machine Label artists, music releases, and brand overall. This role will collaborate closely with artist management teams and internal departments to ensure that the department is developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns that drive engagement, increase visibility, and maximize revenue.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and oversee the department’s comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the label's objectives and priorities.
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns for new music releases, tours, and artist initiatives with set measurable goals and KPIs.
- Drive digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and influencer partnerships.
- Manage budget allocation with individual imprint leadership across various marketing channels (digital, social media, traditional media, etc.).
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation, in partnership with our insights team.
- Monitor digital analytics and campaign performance to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
- Partner with the Creative team and digital marketing creators on the development of creative assets, including digital content, advertising materials, and promotional videos.
- Assist in the company’s PR strategy.
- Collaborate with A&R team to create marketing strategies that align with artist development and release schedules.
- Provide strategic marketing guidance to artist management to enhance their artist’s visibility and career trajectory.
- Assist when needed in negotiations and consult with process on partnerships with brands, media outlets, and influencers to amplify marketing efforts and reach new audiences.
- Foster positive relationships with media contacts and industry influencers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, empowering team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the company’s success.

Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in an executive marketing role within the music or entertainment industry, with a track record of successful artist campaigns. At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, and emerging trends.
- Proven track record of success in launching and managing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and revenue growth.
- Strong industry relationships with media platforms, marketing platforms, advertising agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Management of budgets with effective reporting to executives and financial teams.
- Strong leadership experience overseeing a large team of employees ranging in all skillsets.
- Deep understanding of marketing, advertising, and artist development.
- Experience managing a large team of creative thinkers of all skillset levels.

- Responsible for ensuring that all branches of marketing (digital, social, brand sponsorship, streaming, etc.) are executing properly, delegating responsibilities effectively, and fostering an environment of collaboration.
