Simply Organic Beauty is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to build upon, nurture, and expand our social media presence, and relationships. This role is responsible for the strategy, execution, and daily management of our portfolio of beauty brands’ social platforms. This includes engaging and growing our followers, influencers, customers, and media to continue building our brand presence. Real-time performance data, analysis, and actionable insights are also key to this role.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and usage behaviors. You have proven expertise in developing and executing effective social media campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and reputation management. This is an individual contributor role, and you will be hands-on and working closely with our creative, digital marketing, and partnerships teams, and reporting to the Vice President of the Marketing.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm (Hybrid work schedule)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms, while understanding our customer base and segmentation including B2B, and B2C audiences.
- Propose and help create compelling content including posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia elements to share Simply Organic Beauty’s mission and vision.
- Manage social media channels on a day-to-day basis, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, identifying opportunities and issues, and managing inquiries and comments.
- Be a “doer” and “owner” who can manage disparate stakeholders and opinions – while being able to think big and invent new ways to tell our story.
- Monitor social media trends, analyze and benchmark performance metrics, and generate recommendations to evaluate and accelerate campaign effectiveness and paths forward.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging social media trends and platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, guidelines, and regulations and policies in an ever-changing landscape of social media.
- Produce thoughtful and visual and written narratives with expert attention to detail – this candidate will help manage our brand and reputation and must show strong judgment under tight deadlines and uphold our brand voice.
- Work day-to-day with various external vendors, customers, and partners, including photographers and video production teams in a way that optimizes results and drives down budget.
Qualifications:
- This is an on-site and in-office hybrid position. This candidate will work in-office at our Downtown St. Petersburg location three days a week alongside the larger marketing team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sales Excellence or Journalism highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the beauty and/ or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding and previous usage of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Expert writing and editing skills. A detailed, thoughtful, and clear narrative writer with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to create engaging content and execute effective social media strategies.
- Proven proficiency in social media management tools and analytic platforms.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Working in the beauty industry is often interrupt-driven with rapidly changing priorities and opportunities.
- Team player with a collaborative, can-do, and yet humble mindset that is results-driven.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in AI and digital marketing and related usage models.
- A passion for clean beauty and a commitment to conservation and sustainability, along with a thirst to constantly seek and learn about cutting-edge industry trends and tools.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
