POSITION: Sr. Manager, Operational Marketing

SalonCentric, a wholly owned subsidiary of L’Oréal is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Sr. Marketing Manager. This position will be heavily focused on project management, planning, strategizing and working with cross functional teams on collaboration and execution. Candidate must have a great sense of professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Summary
This role is a pivotal one in the realignment of the marketing department to meet accelerated revenue goals mandated by the business. Its primary function is to choreograph and orchestrate all development activities for the annual planning calendar including all promotional programs, launches of new brands, and expansions of brand assortments and/or territories.
Guided by an omni-mindset, this individual must work across all areas of the business (eg, Store and Street Retail, Visual Merchandising, Digital Marketing, etc) with a particular connection to the Category Management and Operational Marketing teams. This position is truly an “ownership” position, ultimately responsible for overseeing and delivering campaigns throughout their development journeys from start to finish and across departments. It will ensure each stage of development is delivering on objectives and deadlines, acting as an ally to the various stakeholders to deliver the projects to successful launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the 360 omni-marketing process for key SalonCentric initiatives by working with cross functional teams through planning and execution.
- Ensure there is focused, planned and successful support of the annual planning calendar including all promotional programs, launches of new brands, and expansions of brand assortments and/or territories.
- Set clear deadlines for each project and work to hold teams accountable for meeting and executing deliverables.
- Create schedules, verify timelines for creation of assets and identify potential issues that may disrupt workflow including status reviews with ability to trouble shoot and escalate issues and provide updates to leadership.
- Provide clear communication on needs and next steps, so all support functions are able to ideate support and execute their respective areas of expertise.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant account management, brand management, or advertising/marketing development experience.
- Incredibly organized, detail-oriented, purpose-driven multi-tasker able to lead and accelerate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and partnership skills with ability to inspire and mobilize others to deliver results on-time, on-task, and on-budget.
- Proactive and persistent in driving projects to completion and following up on deliverables from other departments. Resourceful in seeking out information and identifying solutions to problems.
- Able to provide clear strategic direction to all parties from the operational to the creative and demand quality execution by providing constructive feedback to enhance impact.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Strategic Planning, Design Thinking, Marketing, Advertising, Communications majors preferred
- Occasional travel required
- Must have long term authorization to work in the U.S.A.
