The Tampa Bay Rays Corporate Partnerships Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships to assist in the prospecting, selling, activation and retention of partnerships and the planning and execution of key partner hospitality events with the both the Tampa Bay Rays & Rowdies
Responsibilities
Employee’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Contribute to department partnership new sales and renewal efforts.
- Activate and fulfill corporate partnership elements for assigned accounts each season for the Tampa Bay Rays and Rowdies.
- Oversee research and analytics programs, such as Relo Metrics, YouGov, Agile Media & Sponsor United.
- Plan and execute premier corporate partner hospitality events designed to foster and build relationships with key partner contacts and stakeholders.
- Support overall signage and partnership inventory management efforts.
- Coordinate partner fulfillment planning with Marketing Creative Services (including RaysVision and Social Media teams), Stadium Operations, Concessions/Retail & Ticketing.
- Assist sales and services teams with sales deck creation, sales pitches and partnership recap reports.
- Manage proposal catalogue materials incorporating on-going updates to data and visuals.
- Manage CRM process including reporting, entering data, and seeking additional input from Rays leadership.
- Ability to fulfill gameday activation duties, such as serving as the department representative during the duration of games to assist with partner tabling, presentations, in-ballpark visits, and more.
- Engage in the Rays and Rowdies employee-first culture by working well with others and participating in team building events.
- Fulfill special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Event Management or similar field
- At least two (2) years of business experience (preferably in sports)
- Strong communication, collaboration and organization skills
- Innovative thinking and strong initiative Excellent verbal and written skills, with a particular attention to detail
- Outgoing, friendly, creative, and enthusiastic
