The Presidio Trust is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our Marketing and Communications Department. The Presidio Trust is an innovative federal agency that stewards and shares the history, beauty, and wonder of the Presidio for everyone to enjoy forever. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Associate supports our marketing managers focused on commercial real estate, residential real estate, hospitality, visitor services, and community engagement, playing a crucial part in supporting project management, gathering and reporting metrics, managing relationships, and executing project plans. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while contributing to the agency’s mission to steward and share the history, beauty, and wonder of the Presidio for everyone to enjoy forever.
This is a full-time position with benefits and a starting pay range of $77,854 to $96,050, based in the SF Bay Area. The starting base salary is dependent on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Applications received by August 30, 2024 will receive first consideration.
Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing Managers with development and day-to-day implementation of marketing plans and campaigns; comprising of strategy and planning, project management, content development, and analytics and reporting.
- Participate in project intake processes, identify marketing needs of a project team, develop a project marketing plan and help influence desired outcomes by working cross-functionally to foster alignment and gain input from project teams and key partners.
- Collaborate with internal and external content and creative teams to develop compelling, results-driven marketing content across multiple channels
- Track marketing metrics and provide reports and insights on marketing initiatives to support data-driven decision making and make recommendations for optimizations to Marketing Managers.
- Collaborate with community event partners to gather the necessary materials to promote their events on Presidio Channels and create post-event analytics reports to send back to partners and internal stakeholders
- Assist in the development and execution of the annual commercial real estate marketing plan and the creation of monthly analytics reports.
- Serve as point of contract with Presidio businesses to help promote and market events, and execute quarterly tenant marketing council meetings.
- Provide project management support in tracking marketing plans and campaigns, communicating progress to key stakeholders, and managing challenges or roadblocks proactively.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of progressive experience with integrated marketing strategy and execution experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Possesses keen understanding of integrated marketing principals, consumer insights and data, and 360 marketing campaign planning and implementation
- Marketing Management – knowledge of how to shape marketing strategies and leverage various marketing levers (PR, site, social, digital, integrated 360 campaigns, OOH, consumer insights, etc.) to evaluate and recommend ways for information to reach shared target audiences
