Job Description
Assistant Manager, Global Marketing
Primary Purpose: Support the Global Brand Marketing team on the global campaign development process and creation of seasonal content for both the retail and outlet brands across the men’s and women’s business. This individual will report into the Sr. Manager of Global Marketing and support campaign development for the first half of the fiscal year, inclusive of both Fall and Winter seasons. Within these seasons, this person will identify globally aligned product stories and anticipate regional content needs to develop the content shotlist on a seasonal basis. They will help manage shotlist communication and feedback with our international business units and our sample procurement team, as well as help maintain all seasonal materials inclusive of priority product flows, store briefs, brand calendars and styling guidance for both retail/outlet channels and genders.
In addition, this person will support their manager in the implementation of Global Marketing strategies for the licensed business across Eyewear and Fragrance categories. They will assist in seasonal content creation and communication with our licensee account partners and work closely with our internal Licensing Merchandising team on driving business needs.
They will act as a key partner for global cross functional partners, including but not limited to Global Creative Studio, Global Social, Global Production, Project Management, Global Merchandising, all International Marketing partners, and our Licensing Merchandising partners.
The Successful Individual Will Leverage Their Proficiency To
- Assist in the creation of our global content development and seasonal planning tools
- Support development of the Fall campaign shotlist and supportive seasonal content through Holiday
- Foster strong partnership with cross functional teams to gather internal information on product, assortment lists, priorities and buys for each season
- Partner with Global Merchandising to understand key seasonal ideas and create priority product flows that align with our seasonal campaign message and serve as a global guidance across global buying and marketing teams
- Pull and organize all product buys for retail and outlet across men’s and women’s categories
- Maintain close communication with global markets and aggregate all content needs and feedback
- Work with production and sample management to manage sample substitutes and availability
- Extend our global marketing strategies to our licensed categories across eyewear and fragrance
- Assist in development of shotlist and supportive seasonal content for licensed categories across the full year
- Maintain communication with Coach global markets on available licensee content, ensuring integration into seasonal media planning and reporting
- Support external communication with licensee account partners and serve as a liaison for their content needs and marketing opportunities
- Partner with Licensing Merchandising team to collect and manage eyewear samples amongst influencer and seeding opportunities
- Take strong initiative to build relationships with key cross functional partners
- Research industry trends to aid Coach Brand Development and cultural relevance
- Initiate and participate in collecting and synthesizing consumer insights to fuel strategic briefs
- Support Sr. Manager of Global Marketing on ad hoc projects

- 1+ years professional experience in marketing with a fashion and/or retail background; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
