We are actively looking for a Junior Associate, Consumer & Market Insights for Coty Inc. This is a temporary position for the Luxury Division at Coty. In this role, the Junior Associate is expected to lead several key projects covering Market & Competitive Insights, and Shopper learnings. The Junior Associate will support the Global Consumer & Market Insights team at COTY, responsible for Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and Tiffany fragrances as well as Philosophy, SKKN, and Kylie Jenner brands.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing analysis and insight to drive recommendations against key business drivers
- Analyzing data to support a competitive market
- Focusing on beauty trends as well as conducting socio-cultural analysis
- Supporting all custom research projects (quantitative and qualitative research)
- Leveraging data from the analytical tools from various sources, including Circana Decision Key, Beauté Research, Mintel, and other industry portals – to identify key opportunities for the business
- Providing support for Business Review updates for the organization
- Assisting with administrative needs for the CMI team
Qualifications
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
- Strong project management/ability to multitask
- High computer literacy: Excel, PowerPoint
- Curious, proactive, & inquisitive
- Interest in sociology and/ or human sciences in general
- Knowledge of beauty trends, products, brands, and markets
- Some Market Research background
Desirable:
- Interest and knowledge in prestige/luxury beauty brands
- Data and Analytics background
- Working in an international environment
- Someone who is responsible, organized and a quick learner would be a great fit for this role

Base Salary Range: $25 - $35 an hour
