Who Are We Looking For
An in Store Visual & Operations Assistant for our Madison Ave Flagship Boutique.This is an integral role that is part of the Store Team at the Madison Ave Boutique. They will work closely with the Operations Team and is responsible to maintain an elevated Visual Presentation in all details in Store and in the Windows.
This role is a full-time permanent position based in Valentino Madison Boutique in New York, 5 days a week, including a few Saturday every month, with a daily schedule of 8am to 5pm ( can vary depening on projects and business needs) .
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible to maintain an elevated Visual Presentation in the Store in all details.
- Work closely every day with the Operation Team of the Valentino Madison NY Boutique to provide support when any product is removed from the Store set up due transfers, omnichannel requests, consignment or product’s call-back.
- Valentino Madison NY Boutique is high volume store and for this reason every day the Visual Merchandising presentation is disrupted due the selling that comes from appointments, consignments or walking traffics. The VM in store is responsible to ensure that the Visual is always on point finding independently solution in line with the VM Guidelines.
- Add on the Visual Set up newness (RTW, Handbags, SLG, or Shoes) that arrives every day accordingly with the Visual Guideline.
- Provide photo updated of the Visual Merchandising Set up in Valentino Madison NY Boutique.
- Share every day during the Morning Meeting of the Store all the updates regarding set up or product added on the floor.
- Coordinate the visual tools and mannequins stored in the store while keeping an accurate inventory at all times.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with visual counterparts in Corporate Office.
- Support events and presentations if needed outside Valentino Madison NY Boutique.
- If needed, travel to visit department store accounts and/or free-standing retail stores to support visual installations. Visits can include full merchandising and display changes.
- Coordinate movement of VM tools from Valentino Madison NY Boutique to other Stores, or from warehouse to Valentino Madison NY Boutique.
- If needed, support Store opening.
Requirements :
- Visual Merchandising experience within a Flagship Store is a must.
- Bachelor’s Degree in design, Art, Fashion or related discipline preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Experience in 3D is a plus
- Keen interest in the current trends of visual merchandising
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with other Store Team Members.

Hourly Rate: $25-$28 ( based on experience and subjecto to change)
