Who You Are And What You'll Do
This isn't just a proofreading job. An editor at Fluxe has a strong knowledge of content structure, can spot articles' hidden potential, and adapts to each client's unique brand voice.
If you read through the following and it makes your heart skip a beat, we want to meet you!
- Our goal is to produce content for our clients that's better than what they could create for themselves. Our content should always be engaging, educational, and strategic
- You'll use our software (GatherContent, ClickUp, Otter, Notion) to facilitate effective organization and resource management. We'll provide you with full training, SOPs, and ongoing support for every platform to ensure you have everything you need to succeed
- We cover a wide variety of B2B and B2C industries, including marketing, sales, healthcare, manufacturing, etc. You don't need to be an expert in these industries, but you do need a willingness to learn about them
- We currently need editing for around 8-12 blog posts per week. This includes supporting tasks related to social media, graphics, metadata, newsletters, and lead magnets. We plan to scale up our operations
- You'll provide constructive, detailed feedback to freelance writers to help them improve and reduce revisions over time
- You're able to write blog posts if needed using our unique interview-based blogging method

Logistics
- This is a full-time, 100% remote position
- All working hours must occur within normal business hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT in your time zone
Top Success Metrics
- Consistent adherence to deadlines
- Client satisfaction with final content (brand voice and content quality)
- Trend in number of monthly revisions requested by clients
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Well organized, with no problem staying ahead of deadlines and managing multiple projects with unique style guides
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic knowledge of, or willingness to learn, SEO best practices
- Experience with, or interest in, using AI tools to automate simple tasks
- Native English speaker
- Located in the U.S. no more than two hours outside the Central Time Zone
Preferred:
- At least two years of writing and editing experience in a professional setting, specifically educational blog content for clients
- Experience operating in collaborative workflows
