Creative Lead, Brand and Performance Marketing - Located in Utah or Los Angeles (preferred but not required)

Position Description:
The Creative Lead is the key creative representative for DIME; they are responsible for upholding and communicating the brand’s creative vision across all internal and external channels. With a strong strategic mindset and technical expertise, this role ensures that all creative assets align with DIME’s refreshed brand guidelines while supporting performance marketing goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Brand Stewardship: Serves as the creative guardian of the DIME brand, ensuring all visual content adheres to the brand’s guidelines, tone, look, and feel
- Creative Strategy: Works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop creative strategies that balance brand consistency with performance marketing goals
- Content Creation: Develops and oversees the creation of digital assets for emails, organic social media posts, and other marketing materials as needed
- Agency Liaison: Serves as the primary point of contact with external creative agencie(s), and is responsible for developing performance creative assets and some brand assets. Manages the relationship, provides clear direction, and ensures all deliverables are aligned with DIME’s creative vision
- Collaboration: Partners with the performance marketing team to ensure creative assets support key campaign objectives and are optimized for engagement and conversion
- Project Management: Leads creative projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that all creative work is completed on time and meets DIME’s high standards for quality
- Photoshoots & Production: Attends and assists with photoshoots to ensure assets are captured according to creative briefs and brand guidelines. Manages communication and negotiations with photographers, videographers, and other creative vendors to align with brand needs and timelines
- Creative Direction: Provides guidance and feedback to internal teams, freelancers, and external agencies to maintain a consistent and elevated creative vision
- Cross-functional Communication: Acts as a key liaison between creative, marketing, performance, and other internal teams to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle
- Timely Delivery: Ensures that all creative deliverables are completed on schedule, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects at once
- Supervises employees: Maintains staff by selecting, orienting, and training new employees. Provides staff with training opportunities for skill development and personal growth. Sets performance goals with employees that support company goals and visions. Monitors and appraises job performance. Appropriately coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed. Acts as a role model for the company’s values and behaviors

Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through execution while working under tight deadlines, delivering high-quality assets on time and within scope
- Experience in production—attending and assisting with photoshoots, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring assets are captured according to creative briefs
- Excellent communication skills—ability to clearly articulate ideas, collaborate effectively, and provide constructive feedback
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to negotiate with photographers, videographers, and other external vendors to ensure creative work aligns with brand standards and project timelines
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with technical expertise
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented creative professional
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a creative role, ideally with experience in both brand creative and performance-driven creative
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, creative direction, and marketing principles
- Technical expertise in content creation for digital channels, including email, social media, and web
- Experience working with performance marketing teams to deliver creative that supports conversion and ROI goals
- Experience working with external creative agencies to develop performance marketing assets and some brand assets
- Deep understanding of both brand-building and performance marketing
Physical Requirements:
- Located in Utah or Los Angeles (preferred but not required)
- Works in a hybrid environment, either in a home or office setting
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use fingers to operate a computer and telephone
