Senior Payments Data Analyst - Remote USA
Role Overview

As Senior Payments Data Analyst, you are empowered to turn the data points captured during the payment process into valuable information, from which important decisions and actions will be made in the effort to continuously drive improvements in payments success and optimization of processes.
This is a remote position in the US. We will only consider candidates currently in the US and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About The Role
- Consolidate and synthesize payments data from various sources.
- Identify insights through the interpretation of data, analyzing results using statistical techniques.
- Proactively communicate insights to influence global and regional payments strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the development and execution of innovative payment optimization testing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Continuously monitor and enhance payment success metrics, employing an agile approach to swiftly adapt configurations based on findings and trends.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of an automated payments performance monitoring and alert system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the evolution and maintenance of the payments’ success predictive model.
- Lead the design and implementation of an automated payments performance monitoring and alert system, ensuring proactive identification of issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on business performance to support reporting cadence with executive leadership and the board of directors.
- Assume ownership of payments related root cause analysis and assist with creation of various ad hoc payments related reports and competitive analysis.
About You
- 7+ years of experience in an Analytical, Finance, or similar role.
- Bachelor degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar analytical field preferred.
- Must have deep understanding of the recurring payments space.
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, Power BI, Tableau or Google Analytics.
- Proficient in ANSI SQL (preferably SQL server).
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data visualization, interpretation and reporting techniques.
- Excellent organizational agility and effective communication skills to various audiences.
- Self-motivated, with high attention to detail, pride in work, and proven capability in delivering excellent work in a fast paced, team oriented, and highly accountable environment.

- Flexible in approach, with a strategic mindset and tactical execution skills, relentlessly pursuing success and innovation.
