Role Summary

The Performance Marketing Manager leads the execution, organization, and optimization of paid media campaigns, landing pages, and marketing funnels that drive measurable growth for Clearly Relevant and our clients.

This role is responsible for ensuring campaigns are built correctly, tracking is accurate, landing pages convert effectively, and marketing systems work together to generate qualified leads, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

The Performance Marketing Manager will work closely with internal team members and contractors to implement campaigns, monitor performance, identify opportunities, and continuously improve results across advertising platforms and marketing funnels.

Core ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & Execution

  • Build and manage paid media campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Develop campaigns designed to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth
  • Structure campaigns, ad sets, targeting, budgets, and placements according to best practices
  • Upload creatives, enter copy, configure URLs, and implement tracking parameters
  • Maintain consistent campaign structure, naming conventions, and organization

Landing Page & Funnel Optimization

  • Ensure alignment between ads, landing pages, tracking systems, and follow up processes
  • Implement and optimize landing pages used for advertising campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and lead quality
  • Ensure landing pages function properly across mobile and desktop
  • Support funnel improvements that increase marketing performance

Creative Direction & Campaign Testing

  • Identify creative opportunities that improve campaign performance
  • Guide development of ad creative including messaging, formats, and variations
  • Coordinate with designers or content creators when assets are needed
  • Run structured testing across creative, audiences, offers, and landing pages
  • Implement creative swaps and messaging updates based on performance data

Tracking, Attribution & Data Integrity

  • Install and manage conversion tracking, pixels, and attribution systems
  • Ensure tracking accuracy across ad platforms and landing pages
  • Monitor attribution and data quality to ensure reliable reporting
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and coordinate fixes when necessary

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance and cost per lead trends
  • Identify optimization opportunities and implement improvements
  • Analyze campaign data to identify winning patterns and improvement areas
  • Generate reports and summaries for internal and client review
  • Maintain dashboards and performance tracking systems

Client Onboarding & Account Setup

  • Set up ad accounts, pixels, integrations, and campaign infrastructure
  • Coordinate onboarding of new clients into paid media systems
  • Document account structures and tracking configurations
  • Ensure proper access and permissions across platforms

Vendor & Platform Coordination

  • Coordinate with advertising platforms when technical issues arise
  • Manage communication with external tools or platform support teams
  • Track platform updates and ensure campaigns remain compliant

Internal Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Client Account Managers, strategists, and internal teams
  • Communicate campaign status and performance updates internally
  • Maintain clear documentation inside project management systems
  • Support the development of scalable marketing systems and processes

Must Provide Insight On

The Performance Marketing Manager is expected to actively contribute insights and observations that improve campaign performance and marketing effectiveness.

This role should provide insight on

  • Campaign performance trends, including rising costs or declining lead quality
  • Tracking accuracy, identifying potential pixel or attribution issues
  • Landing page performance, including opportunities to improve conversion rates
  • Creative performance patterns, identifying high performing messaging and formats
  • Audience and targeting opportunities worth testing or expanding
  • Campaign structure improvements that increase efficiency and results
  • Testing strategies across creative, audiences, and landing pages

The Performance Marketing Manager is expected to proactively surface insights and recommend improvements that strengthen campaign performance and marketing systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Strong understanding of paid media lead generation campaigns
  • Familiarity with conversion tracking, pixels, and attribution
  • Experience optimizing landing pages and marketing funnels
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and identify optimization opportunities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

Experience Level

2 to 5 years in digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing roles.

Pay: $50,657.13 - $67,027.94 per year
