Job Purpose
The social coordinator will be responsible for creating and publishing content, monitoring social channels, and working as part of the larger marketing team to support brand initiatives, campaigns, and internal priorities across BritBox’s US, Canada, and Global social media profiles.
Responsibilities
- Publish social content for Meta (FB, IG, Threads), Twitter (X), YouTube, & TikTok.
- Assist Manager with developing BritBox’s social content calendar and coordinate task with other team members as directed by Manager to support our social vision
- Assist in the continued maintenance and collaboration of Organic Social’s interdepartmental relationships, with internal teams across Paid Media, Brand, Talent and Communications.
- Track analytics and report monthly on brand, asset, and campaign performance.
- Stay up to date on BritBox research, the audience and remain informed on evolving trends
- Monitor comments, and elevate to Manager when needed
- Assist in monitoring current trends, influencers, websites, and celebrities as it relates to pop culture and British TV
- Work across departments to support campaigns, initiatives, and both live & virtual events
- Manage creative briefs and requests, record ideas and proposals, track production timelines·
- Assist in the implementation of strategies to engage with and grow our community as defined by the Social Media Manager
- Be an active participant in the monthly social concept brainstorming sessions for ideation of new creative ideas to engage and delight new and current audiences
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not essential
- Experience managing brand or organization social media accounts.
- Knowledge of social media best practices, algorithms, and analytics for each platform
- Well-versed in social media content and up to date on trends
- Time management skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills,
- Deep passion for social media, emerging tech, online fan communities, short-form content marketing, and television/film. Knowledge of of British TV a plus but not required.
- Must be located within commutable distance of BBCS/BritBox offices in New York City. Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
- Background with social publishing programs like sprout, hootsuite, or sprinklr
- Graphic design, video editing or other content creation-related skills
- Familiarity with British TV
Salary Range
$50 - 60K + competitive benefits + bonus potential
Please note that the salary range is intended to give as an indicator of the salaries that could be attributed to the breadth or experience for a given role. All candidates will be measured based on their level of experience.
We work flexibly at BritBox, to support new markets some work may be conducted outside of US business hours to coordinate with territories in other time zones.
