We are looking for a product-savvy and influential Market Researcher to create and nurture a lasting relationship between LinkedIn and our members/customers.
The Sr. Market Research Manager will partner closely with product marketing and brand marketing to drive the research and insights strategy and execution across the entire LinkedIn platform. This position sits in the Market Research team within the broader Marketing organization that is responsible for driving understanding of LinkedIn’s member and customer audiences. This role would entail working on a variety of topics across the entire ecosystem, including Consumer and our Monetization lines. The researcher in this role will need to have a strategic point of view, strong narrative building skills and the ability to connect the dots across various parts of the business.

What you will do:
- Initiate, lead, and execute research to answer high priority business questions such as: Business Health (e.g. Brand Trackers), Product and Marketing Assessment (e.g. Features tests, Concept Testing), Audience and Category assessments (e.g. Audience Segmentation and Targeting)
- Design and recommend best research methodology (qual/quant/behavioral) to answer complex business questions and manage end-to-end research projects, building on expertise in research and statistics to address key business challenges
- Scope and design global research projects/action plan with key business goals and planning timelines in mind
- Draft questionnaires and discussion/interview guides
- Manage end-to-end project set-up and execution (in-field) in close collaboration with the research operations team or external vendors
- Analyze data (using a variety of tools and resources) - includes survey-based data and linking to behavioral data when relevant
- Translate research findings into clear business implications and partner closely with Brand and Product marketing teams to communicate results and drive action
- Develop your curiosity and understanding of the LinkedIn ecosystem, our competitive landscape and the mindset of LI members and customers
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of market research experience
- 3+ years designing and writing surveys
- BA or BS degree required or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizing key implications
- Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
- Experience in consumer tech industry or social media tech
- Experience with Consumer and BtB research
- Experience with influencing decisions in complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex data sets is required. Ability to extract data from a database (SQL) is a plus
- Familiarity with data processing tools (e.g. Decipher, Q, SPSS)

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $121,000 to $188,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
