Precon Events is seeking a highly creative Marketing Specialist to join the team. Team Precon includes some of the industry’s best Technical Producers, Show Directors, Project Managers, Designers and all-around, world class Event Geniuses. This role supports our marketing and sales efforts working directly with our Director of Sales and CEO. This position will coordinate with the sales and creative teams to help increase sales revenue and focus on marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Proposal Design and Strategy
- Design, layout and write sales proposals for prospective clients.
- Participate in client meetings to develop strategy for development of the proposal.
- Collaborate with the Creative Department to maintain standard proposal content, including, case studies, videos, and product/service descriptions.
Social Media Support
- Create, schedule, and post content on various social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and other interactions on social media.
- Track and report on social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Brand Management and Graphic Design
- Create visually striking content for sales presentation and for increasing engagement for social media, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Develop visually appealing presentation slides for internal and external use, such as sales pitches, webinars, and conferences.
Sales Team Support:
- Sales Materials: Create and update sales presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Lead Generation: Support, research, and identification potential leads for the sales team.
- Spearhead marketing campaigns, coordination of webinars, and related marketing strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, business administration or a relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Experience with Outreach.io a plus
- Expert with Adobe Suite, most significantly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Proficient level PowerPoint design
- Experience managing corporate social media accounts
- Work in the event industry a plus
- Experience with Salesforce helpful
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Summary
This is a remote position. Candidates residing in the DC/MD/VA preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
