General Description:
The Senior Brand Manager leads the development of JAJA’s marketing strategy and supervises the execution of its marketing programming and activations across all markets and channels in the U.S., aligning with the brand strategy. This role works collaboratively with key partners to build long-term connections with JAJA’s core consumer, rooted in data-driven decision-making. Leveraging both business and consumer insights, the Senior Brand Manager will develop programming and creative that builds equity and drives profitability.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop JAJA marketing strategies, aligned with broader strategies for market presence and brand equity enhancement.
- Provide clear strategic marketing direction to the JAJA Sales team and key partners, leading the delivery of prioritized brand goals, objectives, and critical metrics.
- Lead the development of brand programs and activations, rooted in knowledge of the target audience, consumer insights, and growth space research, to achieve volume and revenue targets.
- Manage the execution of marketing plans, including working with agencies, local sales teams, and cross-functional teams.
- Stay attuned to cultural and competitive landscapes, demonstrating a firm grasp of the evolving market.
Sales Support
- Create compelling sales materials, presentations, and promotional tools to drive retail and on-premise sales.
- Oversee the execution of all brand programs in collaboration with Strategy and Business Planning and key partners.
New Product Development & Product Management
- Lead the process of taking New Product Development concepts from idea to production, coordinating with agencies, brand partners, and production teams.
- Partner with team members across Innovation, Consumer Marketing, Media, and the brand team.
Budget Management
- Lead the A&P deployment strategy for JAJA, ensuring A&P spend is prioritized against business and brand objectives and managed within budget.
Professional Experience
- 5-7+ years of marketing experience in Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Bev Alc Industry (preferred).
- Experience building strategic plans, partnering with agencies, and developing marketing and commercial tools.
- Experience managing business operations and leveraging finance and accounting principles.
- Ability to analyze data and market information, recommending actionable business steps.
- Proven success in fast-paced, fluid environments requiring independence, self-initiation, and a bias for action.
- Effective budget management and performance reporting experience.
- Ability to enroll and motivate a complex commercial organization.
