You.
You’re a thoughtful team player with a passion for crafting messaging and storytelling related to external and internal audiences through marketing and communications. You’re also interested in being part of a team catalyzing the transformation process and plan for a large, corporate client. You’ll support the team to research, conceptualize, and execute ideas that help to shape the vision for the client and industry. You can be dropped into any topic, learn it, distill it and develop actionable strategies that provide meaningful, culturally-relevant solutions for the client. You’re curious to learn more about the needs of businesses and the challenges they face in today’s economic, cultural and digital landscape. You're a self starter able to see potential opportunities for the client and the agency. You work well with and can integrate across multi-disciplinary teams.
You’ll work with the account team to:
- Conduct industry, brand-specific and competitive research
- Assist in preparation for internal and client meetings, including creating and editing presentations, agendas, taking detailed notes and business briefs, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items
- Participate in client meetings and brainstorm sessions, and prepare summary documents of key ideas, activation concepts.
- Assist in the development of brand documents and supporting marketing and communications materials under the direction and guidance of account manager and/or director
- Assist in the development of marketing and communications plans, including partnership integration, across all channels (internal, external, digital, etc.)
- Coordinate digital, traditional and non-traditional marketing/experiential activations
- Support relationships with clients and third-party consultants to effectively deliver results and provide solutions
- Coordinate across production partners, staffing agencies, and other vendors as necessary
- Track expenses and invoices, manage Amex cards, reconcile budgets to ensure projects remain on budget
- Manage partners/vendor relationships
- Track and analyze performance metrics
- Support preparation of detailed recap memos and reports
Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years experience in communications, marketing, promotions, media, government service and/or special events production (may include internships)
- Proven organizational and oral and written communications skills
- Candidates should be motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful, trend-aware, hard-working and have the ability to switch gears on the fly
- Strong Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Strong research skills and resourcefulness in providing solutions to complex requests
- 4-year degree
- Experience in the entertainment, consumer products, social, lifestyle and cultural sectors a plus
Base Salary: $60,000/yr - $63,000/yr
