Job Summary:
The VP, Marketing is responsible for devising, overseeing, and executing all marketing and publicity strategies and campaigns for NEON within the Las Vegas market as well as managing Marketing and PR agencies and managing social and influencer strategies, working closely with the marketing team, field sales teams, studio licensees, creative agencies and partner promoters. This role is based in Las Vegas.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates leadership in all areas of marketing, promotions, public relations and promotional event management including influencer management, social media strategy and management, handling talent, managing agencies, and producing themed character events.
• Works closely with agencies, vendors and internal design teams to produce localized high quality marketing assets and strategies that set high standards and meet consumer expectations.
• Defines Agency partner needs relative to strategy and campaign placement; manages those agencies to ensure follow through is met and communicates accordingly with all stakeholders.
• Manages all marketing and publicity promoters.
• Manages and executes all regional events including openings, PR appearances in studio and pop-up opportunities, street teams, early morning PR, media relations, VIP events.
• Ensures that the team uses best in class tools and methodologies for plan recommendations, establishing KPI’s, and measurement.
• Oversees the ideation, development, execution and QA process of assigned projects to ensure all timelines, technical specifications and requirements are met.
• Develops and nurtures Studio and Partner relationships.
• Partners with all internal departments to establish regional media goals, objectives, and form strategies, content creation and growth planning for each brand and campaign as well as set expectations and deadlines.
• Works with social teams to plan and execute regional social paid strategies.
• Leads media buying strategy for region in self-promote situations.
• Provides analytics and reporting to NEON Senior Management Teams.
• Works closely with SVP Marketing & PR to align on company strategy and fulfill departmental needs.
• Provides leadership, ongoing feedback, effective motivation, and training.
Qualifications:
• 10-15+ years of brand marketing media experience required.
• Successful track record in executing meaningful Marketing and PR programs and IP character events for entertainment brands.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of marketing, promotions, and sponsorship placement.
• Works well under pressure amidst demanding talent requests.
• Experience working in global marketplace across multiple countries.
• Strong supervisory and management skills are required.
• Experience working with Entertainment video crews and photographers.
• In-depth understanding of media planning, negotiation, implementation and performance analysis.
• Exemplary communication skills.
• Time management and problem-solving skills and proficiency in managing numbers.
• Entrepreneurial collaborative professional who appreciates working in a team atmosphere, exhibits calmness when faced with competing high-priority projects and difficult decisions. Strong ability to deal with change and navigate ambiguity.
Preferred Education:
