Content Creator
Paragon Sports, NYC's Sports Specialty Store is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media trends, has a keen eye for engaging content, and possesses excellent communication skills. A passion for the sports industry is a plus! In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies, create compelling content, and manage our online presence across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate sales.
- Stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to ensure our strategy remains innovative and effective.
- Engage with influencers in NYC that would create content.
Campaign Development:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, events, and brand initiatives across TikTok, Instagram and Youtube
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and E-Commerce, to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
Content Creation:
- Create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to photography, videos, and graphic posts.
- Know how to edit and use AI tools to make viral videos.
- Collaborate with in-house design and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency in all content.
Platform Management:
- Manage and maintain all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content several times a week.
- Monitor and respond to audience comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics using analytics tools.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Community Building:
- Foster a sense of community among our followers and customers through active engagement and interaction.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers or brand advocates to expand reach.
Stay Compliant:
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations regarding social media use and ensure compliance in all activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to execute and deliver visual content including photography and short videos.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, etc.)
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to execute successfully while multitasking.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passion for the Sports industry is a plus!
